Gossamer
Gossamer is a monster character from Looney Tunes cartoons. He is composed entirely of red hair, yet also has eyes and claws, though these mysteriously disappear if he is completely shaven into a simple mass of hair.
People may dress in a Gossamer costume for Halloween but he is unlikely to appear in decorations, unless they are homemade.

- His name originates directly from the word "gossamer", which is used to refer to any sort of thin or sheer fragile material—usually it either refers to a kind of light cloth or the fine spider webbing used by spiders to balloon or kite to a new location. This naming was intended to have an ironic feel to it as Gossamer is large, menacing and destructive, in a manner similar to calling large individuals "Tiny".
