A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge is a 1985 horror slasher film. It is a sequel to the 1984 movie, A Nightmare on Elm Street. It was directed by Jack Sholder and was written by David Chaskin and Wes Craven. It stars Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, Mark Patton as Jesse Walsh, and Kim Myers as Lissa Webber. The movie is mainly about Freddy Krueger returning and possessing a teenage boy to make him give Freddy a path into the real world.
The movie was a moderate box office moderate box office success. It was made on a budget of $3,000,000 and earned $30,000,000. The film was rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America.
A sequel, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors was released in 1987.
