Friday the 13th Part III (also known as Friday the 13th: Part 3) is a 1982 horror slasher film. It is a sequel to the 1981 movie Friday the 13th Part 2. The movie was theatricality released in 3-D. It was directed by Steve Miner and written by Martin Kitrosser. It stars Dana Kimmell as Chris Higgins, Tracie Savage as Debbie, and Richard Brooker as Jason Voorhees. The movie is mainly about Jason continuing his massacre at Camp Crystal Lake.
The movie was a box office success, having been made on a budget of $2,500,000 and earning more than $36,000,000. The film was rated R by the Motion Picture Association of America. It was originally banned in Norway, Singapore and West Germany.
Having escaped, Jason Voorhees is back, hockey mask and all, to continue his murderous rampage across Camp Crystal Lake.
Right after the events of Friday the 13th Part 2, Jason escapes and goes to a local store to steal some clothes. He then murders a couple Edna and Harold.
Then, some a group of teenagers at Camp Crystal Lake are staying for a visit. Shelly is a big jokester who loves to play tricks on people, but sometimes he goes too far. Then, Shelly and Vera go to town to buy some stuff but then they run into a three thugs, Ali, Fox, and Loco. Shelly accidently knocks over their motorcycles and Ali gets very mad and tries to get them back by setting the barn by their cabin on fire.
Jason kills Fox and Loco as they are getting ready to start the barn on fire. Then Ali enters the barn thinking that his teammates are playing pranks on him, and Jason jumps out and injures him very bad, knocking him unconsience thinking that he killed him.
