Goblin Knights are a tier 3 unit associated with the Chaos-oriented Asylum faction of Axeoth, serving as the faction's first tier unit in the video game Heroes of Might and Magic IV and its expansion packs, Heroes of Might and Magic IV: The Gathering Storm and Heroes of Might and Magic IV: Winds of War. It is notably the first Goblin unit to not be tier 1, if one excludes Heroes III's Wolf Rider, which is intended to be that game's answer for the Barbarian factions' wolves, as opposed to a Goblin.
They can be recruited in Asylum towns from the Goblin Armory. Unlike earlier Goblins, the Goblin Knight is actually very powerful, entirely capable of dealing great damage in close combat, with a movement speed and defense statistic that ensure they will get the opportunity to use it. Combined with their magic resistance, they can be hard to take down.
For those battling Goblin Knights, ranged attacks are the recommended method, but they can also be overpowered with fourth-tier creatures.
