Jaws: The Revenge is a 1987 horror film directed by Joseph Sargent. It is a sequal to Jaws 3-D. It stars Lorraine Gary, Lance Guest, Michael Caine and Mario Van Peebles. It was rated PG-13 by the Motion Picture Association of America.
The film performed extremely badly at the box office. Having been made on an estimated budget of $23,000,000, it went on to earn only $20,000,000 in the United States and less than $52,000,000 in the rest of the world.
Michael Caine famously commented about Jaws: The Revenge, "I have never seen the film, but by all accounts it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific".[1]
Plot
After killing the latest shark to terrify the waters of Amity Island, the new deputy believes that his life is being targeted by another shark in search of revenge.
