Fictional character biography
- Beware the stare of Mary Shaw.
- She had no children, only dolls.
- If you see her in your dreams, be sure you never,
- ever scream or she'll rip your tongue out at the seam.
The nursery rhyme above tells a horrifying story of Mary Shaw. She was born in 1869. She had no human friends in childhood, and dolls and puppets were her only companions. When she grew up, she became a ventriloquist who had no spouse or family. She was murdered in 1941, out of revenge for kidnaping a boy who offended her, and her tongue was pulled out by the child's family.
However, she was revived years later as a mute zomble, and seeks her own vengence by using her dolls. She murders children and pulls their tongue out, just as was done to her.
